Great vibe and decor at the swingin door. Good Brit beer selection normally, but quite a few dead taps recently. Will return to try more Brit beers later. Fish n Chips were very good.

this is a great little find we were able to bring our pet and sit on the patio. We ate the famously ordered fish and chips we loved our Bartender Taylor, she is a mixologist not someone who just makes drinks we will come back soon to try more off the menu by the way the phone is constantly ringing for orders that we're being picked up for take out! Quite impressive for a pub like I said the fish and chips are famous and well liked.

Great environment and food. Bartenders are always friendly and make excellent drinks. Just a few of my favorite tasty dishes available: bangers & mash, fish & chips, and mushroom burger. Chicken sandwiches are juicy. Seafood combo is excellent as well.

We tried irish slammer and it was great! This place has many varieties of drinks, and their bartenders always know their stuff.

Best burger I have had in ages! Staff very friendly. Bar area is dark, but the patio area is delightful. I was there with 12-14 singers and musicians, and it was a terrific place to gather and sing folk songs. They also have a nice upstairs room that you can probably reserve. Parking a little tough, but El Camino is just a block away, and I have always found parking.

Great pub for your traditional English ales or local American beers along with expected pub dishes. Fish and chips, bangers and mash, all well prepared. Very friendly staff and locals.

Remember your first visit to a pub in England or Ireland? The Swinging Door brings back all that feeling and more. It's been around a long while (I still call it the Prince of Wales). They were the first foodies with the incredibly hot Habanero burger. I got a bumper sticker for finishing one. And felt the effects for a couple days. Let's just say warmth. The back patio gives off a different, hidden fort, tropical vibe compared to the traditional inside. Both are great. Grab some malt vinegar for your chips, a pint and a burger and enjoy this pub. Right now!
